Nourshine Hamid

Nourshine, 25 years old, from Syria living in Lebanon since 2013. Master’s in History with the support of a HOPES scholarship funded by the EU through the ‘EU Madad Fund’ at the Lebanese University

“I live with my family, and I faced challenges in studying but with perseverance, patience and no hesitation I was able to succeed. I am at the second year of the Master’s degree in History at the Lebanese University. I chose this field of studies because I wanted to learn more about this field, and it opens up education opportunities. I aim to obtain my Master’s Degree in history and to pursue my studies to obtain a PhD. I thank HOPES for their efforts in contributing to the completion of my studies so far. To other students facing the same difficulties is I advise them to be patient, willing and perseverant.”
