HOPES-LEB, a journey of hope for a better future

Dear friends and colleagues,
As we reach the conclusion of the HOPES-LEB project, we want to express our heartfelt and deepest gratitude to you for making the realisation of this project possible.

HOPES-LEB has been a journey of hope, resilience, and immense dedication. This project has been almost fully implemented in a context of multiple crises and uncertainties, starting in April 2020 until today. And despite all challenges, we were able, together, throughout the past four years, to provide 1,546 scholarships to Lebanese and refugee students, to fund 20 innovative short-term education projects, establish and manage a regional alumni network with 1,010 members and organise several stakeholder dialogues and events focusing on higher education in times of collapse.

Together we were able to create opportunities for numerous young individuals, opening doors to education that will undoubtedly transform their futures. 

We share with you the final issue of our HOPES-LEB e-newsletter incorporating both the HOPES-LEB achievements as well as stories and testimonies from our students, beneficiaries and the HOPES-LEB team. 

To our partners and supporters, your collaboration and commitment have been pivotal in making the realisation of our objectives and goals possible. Thank you for being a part of this extraordinary journey.
